In anticipation of closing its brick and mortar locations in spring of 2020, RON ROBINSON announces a special “Farewell Tour” lineup of live events and exclusive fashion releases. Recognized the world over for its artistic focus and visionary spirit, the legendary RON ROBINSON brand encompasses everything from home and lifestyle to apparel for men, women, and kids. Credited with shaping the last four decades of LA fashion, the iconic man behind the brand invites the community to join in celebrating 41 years of success and welcoming the next phase of his journey. 

While the final chapter of the influential RON ROBINSON flagship Santa Monica and original Melrose Avenue storefronts comes with mixed emotions, the decision was made with great consideration and intention for the future. “In our 41st year, it is with gratitude and great pride that we leave behind a part of ourselves and embrace our next chapter,” says Robinson. “I am fulfilled by what I have done,” he explains, “and I’m ready to be a part of what comes next. Life is a journey, not a destination, and I am ready to experience the new.” 

With the closing of its two brick and mortar locations, the brand will continue to grow and expand its APOTHIA fragrance line, as well as its online presence. The Robinson family looks forward to reconnecting and finding time to pursue new visionary exploits. Robinson’s son, Max, who serves as an influential part of the store, plans to discover and follow his own individual creative journey. As for the company’s sizeable management team and employees, Robinson has set aside a special profit sharing and pension plan to help support their next steps.

Leading up to the final season, the RON ROBINSON storefronts will present an exceptional curated offering. Working in partnership with vendors and creatives, the team plans to make this a wonderful and memorable time, complete with a final “thank you” experience for all.
